Yoga is a complete science of life that originated in India many thousands of years ago. It is one of the oldest systems of personal development in the world, encompassing the three-fold structure of humankind: the body, mind and spirit.
Yoga was created and taught as a science and practice for the transformation of this three-fold entity; sought through the healing of the whole body and the release of mental, physical and emotional tension by living a healthy and balanced life. This process facilitates the ultimate aim of Yoga: the stilling of the mind.
Yoga seeks a state where body and mind are united and awareness of oneness or non-duality is achieved.
